Detur Finland Oy’s Finnish customers have been able to apply for compensation from the Swedish Kammarkollegiet for travel packages that were not implemented due to bankruptcy.

Finns waiting for compensation from travel agency Deturi need more information.

The compensation application of many Finns has turned out to be incomplete, which is why Sweden’s Kammarkollegiet, which manages the payment of compensation, has asked the applicants for more information.

Kammarkollegiet hopes that messages in English or Swedish will be answered as quickly as possible in order to speed up compensation decisions. If the message is not found, those applying for compensation should check their spam folder.

Kammarkollegiet can also be contacted by phone, so those who have applied for compensation should answer a call from a Swedish area code. The call starts with numbers 46 870.

Kammarkollegiet reminds that consumers are not entitled to double compensation. The compensation application must therefore be canceled if you have received a refund from, for example, a credit company.

Detur Finland Oy’s Finnish customers have been able to apply for compensation from the Swedish Kammarkollegiet for travel packages that were not implemented due to bankruptcy.

Kammarkollegiet has asked the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (KKV) to forward information on the matter.

Customers should not contact KKV or the European Consumer Center of Finland, but act in accordance with Kammarkollegiet’s instructions.

Detur filed for bankruptcy about a year ago.
