Dolivo became known to Finnish television viewers as a member of the Kivikasvot entertainment quartet from the 1960s. Dolivo later served as a director in several positions in the cultural sector.
Kivikasvoi had its own show on MTV3 for six years. *Stone Face* was one of the most popular programs in Finnish television history. A single program could have even more than 2.5 million viewers in Finland of a unified culture.
Georg Dolivo acted, sang and wrote songs in the ranks of Kivikasvoi.
Dolivo stopped being stone-faced in 1987, when he was elected director of Svenska Teatern. Dolivo was also seen on the theater stage and as a director. With him, Svenskan strengthened its musical theater expertise.
Jori Dolivo held various management positions in the cultural sector until the 2010s. Among other things, he piloted the Helsinki Capital of Culture Foundation and worked as cultural director of Espoo. Dolivo was also chairman of the board of the Finnish Film Foundation twice.
