Last year, Rovaniemi had 1.5 million overnight stays, an increase of 19% compared to the previous year. There were 862 000 registered nights and 619 000 unregistered nights. Unregistered nights increased by a whopping 51%. Hotel capacity in Rovaniemi is limited, which partly explains the strong growth in unregistered nights, such as short-stay rentals.

Number of air passengers still growing
