Rovaniemi travel company Snowhotel Family was ranked among the best jobs in Finland
Snowhotel Family was the third best job in Finnish medium -sized companies in the Great Place to Work report. All employees thought the job was really good.
According to a personnel survey by Great Place to Work (GPTW), Snowhotel Family from Rovaniemi is currently the third best medium -sized company in Finland as a job.
The GPTW company is based on anonymous queries made for employees. Last year, nearly 20,000 employees responded to the survey.
In surveys, employees assess their workplace based on about 60 different statements. All industries are included, not just tourism.
The Finnish Best Workplace list is accessible each year by the 50 companies that are best succeeded in the staff survey. On average, 86 % of the employees of the companies that have been on the list say they are treated as individuals and not just as employees.
On the other hand, 100 % of Snowhotel Family employees who responded to the GPTW survey said, among other things, that they have a really good job as a whole, it is a pleasure to come to the workplace as they are and are treated equally regardless of gender.
Snowhotel Family is the first Lappish company ranked at the top three on the GPTW list. The sharpest top of the list is rarely reaching tourism companies.

– We started business 17 years ago, and we have always taken care of the employees. Of course, it was already realized that good employees will come back year after year, and then it will make us easier to induce and quality.
According to Haavikko, the company believes that when a satisfied employee does his best at work, it is reflected in good quality and good feedback to the customer and produces a positive twist.
– When we got these results, we were just wondering how those other companies do these things when they do not do this.

During the season, the company employs about 190 people.
