The bus ticket can be bought and stored in the same application as the train ticket.
Passengers arriving in Kuopio by train can now also buy one-time tickets for the local bus from VR’s Matkalla application. VR and the city of Kuopio want to make buying a bus ticket and the travel chain easier, when a bus ticket can be bought and stored in the same application as a train ticket.
The local transport ticket must be activated separately in the application before getting on the bus.
VR’s application also sells tickets for regional transport in Helsinki, Tampere, Hämeenlinna, Joensuu, Oulu, Rovaniemi, Lahti and Jyväskylä.
