The mosquito camera, which has gathered millions of viewers, starts up again in Saimaa – Luontolive is also a new destination this year

In addition to skunks, WWF’s animal-themed nature cameras monitor, among other things, the lives of norps.

WWF’s Sääksikamera, which has gathered millions of viewers, starts on April 5.

This is the seventh time that WWF and its partners have carried out a live broadcast of birds’ nests. In 2022, the mosquito camera received approximately 2.9 million views.

This year, Luontove also includes other animal-themed snacks. The life of the Saimaan porpoise is followed in Norppalive, and one camera investigates the life of Baltic porpoises in the Archipelago Sea.

According to the WWF, a fourth broadcast is planned, but it remains a surprise at this stage. The new Luontolive destination will be announced during April.
