Among others, Maija Hurme and Ellen Strömberg are competing for the Nordic Council’s literature prize. The prize will be awarded in October in Oslo.

The Nordic Council prize is awarded for high-quality children’s and youth literature.

On Tuesday, the Nordic Council announced the nominees for this year’s literature prize.

There are 14 candidates in total and two of them are from Finland and one from Åland.

The Nordic Council’s literature prize is awarded to a work of fiction written for children and young people in one of the Nordic languages. The work can be a combination of text and images, and it must be of high quality in terms of writing and art.

The recipient of the children’s and young people’s literature award is chosen by the joint Nordic award committee. It has two members from each Nordic country.

The prize is 300,000 Danish kroner, or about 40,300 euros.

The winners will be announced in Oslo on October 31.

The award aims to increase the visibility and recognition of Nordic cooperation.
