The production company Warner Bros. is planning a new Harry Potter television series for the HBO Max streaming service, reports the news agency Bloomberg.
Two sources tell Bloomberg that the series would be based directly on the original Potter books. The series would be made for seven seasons, each of which would tell the story of one book.
