A total of 14 Nordic candidates are aiming for the 2023 award.

A total of 14 Nordic candidates are aiming for the 2023 award. Puikkonen is nominated for his novel *Musta peili*, Sandström for his novel *Den stora blondinens sista sommar* and Lundberg for his prose story *Konsten att inte hitta sig själv på Bali*.

The award winners will be announced in Oslo on October 31. All candidates can be found here.

The Nordic Council’s literature prize has been awarded since 1962 to a work of fiction written in one of the Nordic languages. In this context, a work of fiction means a work of poetry, prose and drama that is of a high literary and artistic quality.
