There will be a cruise ship in Pielinen, which moves in Vuonislahti and Kelvänsaari

This is what Koli's new cruise ship looks like.
M/S Marival II cruises in Koli in the summer.

In the busiest tourist season of the summer, there are four cruises a day on Pielinen.

Kolli will start cruises on Pielinen next summer.

The cruises start in June, and at first there will be a ferry from Koli harbor to Vuonislahti and back twice a day.

There are four cruises during the summer’s busiest tourist season. In addition to Vuonislahti, you can go to Kelvänsaari’s Tarina-aho, as well as a dinner cruise that combines all the places to visit.

The cruise ship is M/S Marival II, which has just under 90 seats, as well as a restaurant, bar and sun deck.

The ship was completed in Poland in 1965, where it cruised for 30 years. The ship came to Finland in 1995.

The ship is owned by Amfion Marine Charter, with whom Kolin Matkailu has signed an agreement to manage sales and customer service.

Koli tourism has sparked a debate after Lieksa announced that it will direct its annual marketing contribution to Koli Matkailu instead of VisitKarelia.
