Tampere Työväen Teatter’s premiere is postponed after an actor was injured in rehearsal.
– The accident happened during practice at the last move, Ahola says in the press release.
– I took a colleague ashore and felt a strong pain in the knee bend, as if someone had kicked with a sharp boot. The pain was immense.
Another actor to replace
The exercise was interrupted and the orthopedist had unpleasant things to say.
– Magnetic images showed that the left anterior cruciate ligament is completely severed. It’s a shame to miss out on an interesting performance after a long and rewarding practice session.
Work safety has been carefully taken care of, but injuries still happen. The fights planned by the fight choreographer and their live video recording are an essential part of the show.
