Pipe repair can soon come to your house – this is how you anticipate it
Built in the 1970s, an apartment building is of great probability that pipe repairs will soon be done. Fitness surveys provide both home buyers and owners of the future.

– If there is a note that the pipe repair has been done, it is a good idea to find out from the property manager what its scope has been, Anssi Väätäinen says.
The same advice applies to any future pipeline repair in the report. It is also worthwhile to inquire about its planned extent from the property manager.

Today, pipe repairs are usually done in two ways: either by replacing the pipes completely new or by soaring them, that is, making new pipes inside the old ones.
According to Anssi Väätäinen, a building technology expert at the Real Estate Association, it is possible to combine these two methods. For example, this is the case by carrying out a traditional pipe renovation in the apartments, but for example, the sewerage of the public spaces is repaired by socking. Then you don’t have to open the floors.
The biggest advantage of renewing the entire house pipes is that the bathrooms will also be renewed. Possible problems in wet rooms can then be detected and removed.
– This will give the housing company 25-30 carefree years, Väätäinen estimates.
In solemn, residents suffer from renovation only for a short time. The structures are not opened and is a cheaper method than renewing pipes. However, wet rooms remain unchanged, so they may not appear in them.
Problems have been found to be largely missed in both socking and as a method.
