Lahti’s political positions of trust have been surprisingly agreed between parties and council groups.

Political actors selected for the recently elected city council in Lahti have agreed to share positions of trust. Political parties, electoral federations and council groups signed an agreement on the division of trust on Friday, May 2.

Election winner SDP will receive the chairmanship of the city government and the position of the second vice chairman. The third vice -president is shared with the Coalition Party so that the first two years go to the Coalition.

The chairmanship of the City Council goes to the Coalition.

The chairmanship of the Board of Education goes to the SDP and the chairmanship of the new, combined vitality and welfare board goes to the Coalition.

The SDP and the Coalition share the presidency of the Urban Environment Board. The first two years will lead the Coalition Party and the last two years of the term of the term.

The chairmanship of the Audit Board is the Coalition Party.

The SDP receives four seats from the city government and three coalitions. The coalition of KD, the center and the movement now gets one place, the Left Alliance also gets one and so does the Greens.
