The group has submitted an application for corporate restructuring to the district court.

The Leningrad Cowboys band has submitted a corporate restructuring application to the district court, reports Helsingin Sanomat. The Helsinki District Court confirmed to the newspaper that the application was submitted on December 30. Corporate restructuring aims to avoid bankruptcy.

The National Treasury has tried to collect overdue loan installments and their interest from Järvenpää during the fall. The total amount is a little over one million euros. The loan installments to be collected are related to the 1.6 million euro product development loan taken by Järvenpää in 2012.

Founded in 1987, the Leningrad Cowboys have performed very little in recent years. Gigs have been reduced by, among other things, the corona pandemic and the war in Ukraine.
