DNA’s broadband connections have been down in Lahti and Kuopio – fault occurred during installation work

Cable TV connections were also interrupted on Tuesday afternoon.

Thousands of DNA’s cable broadband connections have been disrupted in Lahti and Kuopio on Tuesday afternoon.

According to DNA’s communication, installation work was carried out in the company’s data centre in Lahti, and a broken connection cable was put in place during the installation. This caused the cable TV and cable broadband connections to go down.

As cable broadband connections are also provided from Lahti to Kuopio, the fault also extended there.

The disorder started at half past three in the afternoon, and an hour later the connections had been returned 70 %. DNA estimates that all subscriptions will work again at half past five in the afternoon.
