Malaria’s fear swelled into a phenomenon in 2015.

Young artists tell how the fear of Paper T’s malaria changed their lives.

The album shared opinions in the then hometown of Haavisto in Central Finland, as its topics with their differences and anxiety differed from the typical Jyväskylä rap.

\”However, everyone seemed to have a risket for the peppers,\” Haavisto recalls.

Now, in April, the album, which raised Finland’s new generation of artist, celebrates its ten years.

Groove to start copying

Lauri Haaviston charmed the production side of the other popular Finnish rap, Paperi T brand, external habit and a way not to cover up his breakdown in the songs. Inter alia.

-I remember when we got home with Me Women, and the papru was there too. I was that hey now give a little line, Haavisto says and laughs.

Haavisto has always liked it if the rappers had one to two more sensitive songs. Suddenly * Malaria’s fear * offered them a disk.

– It bumped so hard that I imitated the paprun output and style quite a lot in my eco -owned rappers, says Haavisto.

Does * Malarian fear * still somehow in the songs performed by Lauri Haavi? It is difficult to analyze your own music, Haavisto replies.

– If it still appears in the mole, it doesn’t hurt at all. On the contrary, it’s an honor.

Life in Mararia’s Matrix

Paper T’s caricated character has also been annoyed. One of the most common criticisms is, especially for * Malaria’s fear * whining cultural references. Paper T received, without wanting the names of indie movies, fictional characters and architects, without wanting a prefix intelligence, used as both a tribute and a mockery.

In the eyes of Haavisto, it raised the paper T to a new level.

– It was a cool flexion that it spoke of good food and wines or other cultural areas that hadn’t heard of floating. In the past, it was that I was better than you and I have a finer car than you.

And the rhymes in the cultural bubble of Helsinki did not exclude others outside.

– Suddenly I started drinking red wine at the bar. The album influenced in many ways how then lived life. That even though he was Jyväskylä, Helsinki started to sound like a pretty cool place.

\”Afterwards, I do not realize what the identification surface in an adult man’s rocky reels of love and drinking gin has been for a 15-year-old who lived in Harviala,\” Träff says.

– But that album had an incredible skepticism towards everything. When it was associated with puberty rebellion and anarchy that adults and everyone who claims me are fucked up, so * Malaria’s fear * came and struck a baseball bat in the back.

Paper T’s style to stop the sentence will still become cold colors, says a 24-year-old artist Auluve.

– That album made me realize that there were quite a few great feelings inside me that I would like to let out. If I listen to my first SoundCloud songs, then they are quite full copies of *malaria *, Träff says.

Now Träff himself lives in the rock himself, where he encounters the things mentioned by * malaria * regularly. Recently, Träff happened to watch the movie * Dazed and Confused * from 1993, through which the song * way * opened in a new way.

– I live in a wonderful matrix.

A plate like a nightly quarrel in the gate

While still living in the countryside in Harviala, the album created dividing lines. In Träff’s own acquaintance, Paper T was either a favorite artist or \”pretty shit\”.

– For example, my girlfriend at that time didn’t understand any of the things.

As a young man, Träff has been a fan boy in spirit and blood, which has made it difficult to question the works of his favorite or to accept dissenting opinions. Now, as a parent, he fully understands why, for example, * you leave the * music video in the comment box \”30 % talk about artificial art and 70 % of the generation.\”

– The album’s word choices are so straight and does not look for any beautiful landscape, but it is the gateway at three in the morning when you go to a loud quarrel. That is why it shares opinions.

* Malarian fear* and the subsequent solo albums* All is well* and* every day something disappears* build a thoughtful picture of a rapper that stays out of the limelight and media until the years have given new things to say. As usual, Paper T refused to interview this story as well.
