Kim Mikkola’s subordinates tell HS about humiliating treatment – Masterchef executive producer: we will discuss it

Nine people who worked with Kim Mikkola describe her as having behaved inappropriately. Mikkola has denied the allegations.

Mikkola has worked in many top restaurants and is also a judge for the new season of *Masterchef Finland* TV series. Mikkola has, for example, worked several times as assistant chef in the Danish restaurant Noma, voted the best in the world.

Helsingin Sanomat contacted 18 people who know Mikkola. Nine of them say they have experienced or witnessed inappropriate behaviour. Four said they had no knowledge of inappropriate behaviour.

Responses describe humiliating behaviour, bullying, shouting, and some even describe physical violence. A former trainee who worked at the restaurant Olo describes being pushed and fornicated. Another chef who worked at the restaurant also says that Mikkola cheated on him and another waiter.

Mikkola has denied the descriptions of the interviewees for Helsingin Sanomat. In the case of being, he tells Helsingin Sanomat that nothing has happened.

The person who worked in the nom describes Mikkola as a scary character, and he was not the only one in fear.

Mikkola denies inappropriate behavior. According to him, he has not used sub -style expressions against humans, but others used.

A former spouse who worked with Mikkola, a restaurant in Inari, tells Helsingin Sanomat that Mikkola has behaved aggressively towards him and, among other things, pushed him. The eyewitness heard by Helsingin Sanomat confirms the story.

Mikkola denies the claims.

He says that the toxic atmosphere made him take his distance to top kitchens.

Yle sought Kim Mikkola but did not catch him.

According to him, there have been big twists and turns in the work cultures of top restaurants. According to him, the world is now completely different than when he worked in the kitchens of top restaurants.

In the interview, Mikkola said of the work culture he witnessed, but he did not say he had acted in the same way as inappropriate chefs.
