The victim was stabbed at the entrance to the shopping centre, where he fled to a nearby taxi rank. At the station, the killer caught up with him and stabbed him several times in the torso and limbs.
The victim was still able to get in and out of the taxi, but died of his injuries later that day in hospital.

The victim was a man born in 2000, who was killed by a man two years younger on August 23. There were several eyewitnesses to the incident, and the events were also partially recorded on a surveillance camera.
In the Päijät-Häme District Court, the prosecutor demands a prison sentence for the perpetrator for murder. The matter began to be discussed on Monday, December 12. The district court ordered the defendant to undergo a mental state examination.
