Lahti Street Care Care Tender is going to the district
The City of Lahti and Yit Road have not agreed on financial disagreements. The mistake in the Excel table was expensive for the city.
The maintenance contract mess in the southern area of \u200b\u200bLahti is about to end up in the district court.
Last fall, Lahti revealed a mess between the city and YIT, which made the street care contract costly for the city.
Due to the error, the target price for the contract in the southern region rose considerably high. The mistake occurred during the tendering process, when the city forgot to include in the tender documents the designated area from which the weeds on the street pavements had to be weeded.
When YIT responded to the offer, it had priced weeding of weeds $ 1,000 per square meter. Normally, the market price for similar work is about 20 cents per square meter.
In the fall, the city environment board approved the settlement agreement negotiated by the city and YIT, but the city government is now being asked to return the matter back to preparation.
The city and the contractor have not agreed on financial disagreements and the treatment contract will be terminated at the end of September.
The city starts preparing a lawsuit in the matter.
