Pikku-Hanhi gets back on its wings – new owners continue the work of the failed restaurant in Lahti
Kai Tiilinen and Petri Hotti will reopen the restaurant soon.
Restaurant Pikku-Hanhe continues to operate in Lahti. The previous owner filed for bankruptcy in November 2024.
– I’ve been trying for a long time to get a regular day job, but I haven’t really found anything else good to do. Then a friend called and asked me if I would take a risk and save Little Goose,” Tiilinen says.
The entrepreneurs will reopen the restaurant in January and February. The Little Goose name and brand will be retained.
– They and the restaurant’s good reputation are the best. Little Hans has no burden or strain, Tiilinen states.
The operation will be started little by little, so at the very beginning there will be no performers in the restaurant. However, the intention is that the pub will also have a versatile program in the future.
Like many other restaurants, Pikku-Hanhi got its wings from the corona pandemic and the subsequent reduced sales. According to Kai Tiilinen, he and Petri Hotti are trying to rebuild operations based on economic realities.
