JVG, one of Finland’s most popular performers, announced that they will perform at the Olympic Stadium next summer.
JVG announced on Monday morning that the duo will perform at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium next summer in August.
This did not come as a big surprise, as the duo had already hinted at this in an interview on Yle, for example.
The concerts at the Olympic Stadium have been seen as a kind of milestone for Finnish artists. Then there is the big one when you perform at Stadika.
Even before corona, the popularity of live music was growing. Everyone wanted to see their favorites singing their favorite songs live and in front of a big audience.
The problem has been how to accommodate a large audience outside of summer festivals.

There are arenas in Sweden and Norway that attract 40,000 people and the world’s number one artists perform there. One stadium in use during the summer is not enough for Finns’ needs.
