The income of the music industry was unevenly affected by Corona in 2021. Many high-income earners held their own, but some saw their income drop dramatically. On the classical side, the rise was big.

Corona continued to affect the income of cultural people and especially performing artists in 2021. There were hardly any performance opportunities and big festivals last year.
