At the top of Lapland’s highest earners is Pertti Yliniemi, an entrepreneur from Muonio and called Lapland’s tourism emperor. He had a total of 1,772,079 euros in earnings and capital income. Yliniemi paid 622,410 euros in taxes.

Among the 30 highest earners in Lapland, there are hardly any tourism entrepreneurs. Pertti Yliniemi, also known as the tourism emperor, and Seppo Aho of Sava-Group can be found on the list.
