The city will inform you when the ice trail is ready.

The City of Lahti warns residents against going on the Lake Vesijärvi Ice Trail before it is completed. The city informs that work is starting on the ice route, but snow on the ice is slowing down the consolidation of the ice.

To make the ice layer thicker more quickly, the contractor will first clear the ice path of snow. However, the route will not be ready for use after the plowing, and traffic on the track should be avoided until the city announces that it is ready.

The ice route is ready for use when the ice thickness at the measurement point is 25 cm and the route has been ploughed. Preparatory work will proceed according to weather conditions.

According to the city, a big rail has been observed a week ago in Vesijärvi, which extended from Isosaari to Enonsaari and from Mukkula to the foot. On ice, people must take special care.

The store, which will be completely renovated, will focus on local food and small local producers. Heinola Hila, which has a local food market and café-restaurant in Heinola, has the main responsibility.

According to Matsari, the atmosphere of the market hall is a perfect match for local food and small producers. So expanding to Lahti was easy in the end.

– Seventeen years have been held in Heinola’s side of small producers, and it has always been watched to see if one could expand somewhere. The Kolli Foundation was convinced of us and did not want to leave this card unmoved, Matsar says.

Initially, the robots will only deliver orders to Wolt-Market, which they will transport within a radius of about three kilometres of the city centre. The robots are the same type of six-wheeled walkers that the S-Group, for example, has already used in many places in Finland.

Transport robots move autonomously along the roadsides, but workers monitor their activity and can take them over at any time.

Lahti robots are operated by Estonian company Starship Technologies and remotely controlled from Tallinn.

The health effects of tax are considered to be minor and full -to -xylitol is to be excluded.

The government’s proposal for the increase in confectionery and chocolate tax is strongly criticized in the consultation round.

Most statements are opposed to the government’s proposal to raise the current tax rate of 14 % of the sweets and chocolate to a general tax rate of 25.5.

The statements submitted emphasized the concern that the tax increase will weaken employment and endanger new investments.

The proposal is also considered to be contrary to the objectives of the Government Program: at worst, it weakens the competitiveness of the domestic food industry and leads to the increase in the share of cheaper import products.
