Mirolybov was a long -term journalist for the Finnish Broadcasting Company. He retired from Yle in 2003.

Television news spectators remember Eila-Maija Mirolybov, especially as a knowledgeable, soft-voice cultural journalist. He loved all culture, but especially opera music and theater.
