A new open early childhood education group is starting in Nastola – activities are also available for Ukrainian families

Open early childhood education is a free activity that aims to promote the well-being of children aged 2–5 and their families through, for example, play and movement in nature.

The new group of the city of Lahti’s open early childhood education will start its operations on Monday, November 14 in Nastola at Niittytie 10.

Open early childhood education is a free activity to promote the well-being of children aged 2–5 and their families. Participation, play, experientiality, working in nature and movement are emphasized in the activities.

All clubs have both morning and afternoon groups. In the afternoons there are also activities for Ukrainian families and on Wednesdays there are family activities open to everyone.

You can apply for club activities using an electronic application form, which can be found on the city’s website. You can also apply for the activity using a paper form, which can be obtained from open early childhood education offices or from Lahti-Pistie.

Open early childhood education club activities are offered at six different locations in Lahti: the Hirsimetsä group in Kiveriö, the Jalkaranta group, the Launee family park group, the Loviisanpäss group in the city center area, the Nastola group and the Tanssimäki group in Mukkula.
