There will be a traditional menu, i.e. industry classics, rarities and novelties.
Fans of horror films will have something chilling to watch when the IIK! horror film festival kicks off on Friday night, November 4 – now for the first time in Oulu. The venue is the movie theater Star, where at the same time we are testing how the audience will receive the all-night event.
The festival has been organized since 2002. In the past, horror films have been shown in Ii.
The horror night starts at ten in the evening and continues until ten in the morning. A total of eleven films will be shown during the night. Inka Koutaniemi says that traditional tableware is offered, i.e. industry classics, rarities but also novelties.
– The films run in two theaters throughout the night, which means that a festival-goer will have time to see a maximum of six films. So, unfortunately, choices have to be made. The last movie of the morning is shared by everyone.
The IIK! horror film festival has traditionally gathered a few hundred visitors. The same number is expected even now, despite the fact that films are shown throughout the night. The festival attracts visitors from all over Finland and from abroad.
