Kempower, the manufacturer of fast charging devices for electric vehicles, becomes the official partner of the Finnish ski jumping national teams.

The Finnish Ski Federation and Kempower from Lahti have signed a four-year cooperation agreement, with which Kempower will become the official partner of the Finnish ski jumping national teams.

Over the next four years, Kempower will be visible in the competition clothes and representative outfits of the ski jumpers. The amount of the contract is not disclosed.

According to Suhonen, it was natural for Kempower to support ski jumping specifically.

– As a young growth company, we entered the international market from the underdog position. Perhaps this will give inspiration to Finnish ski jumping, which has all the conditions to rise to the top again, says Savonen.

Kempower considers ski jumping and winter sports important also because most of the company’s employees are from Lahti who have been to Mäkimontu to follow the sport.

– Hill jumping is a bit crazy and so are we, says Kempower’s communications director Paula Savonen.
