Lahti Energia Sähköverkko oy lowered its electricity transmission prices in the spring. There are no new discounts for customer fees.
The distribution network companies responsible for the transmission of electricity will receive a total discount of 300 million euros, when Fingrid will not charge them monthly grid fees. If the transmission company has a surplus at the end of 2023, it has to return the surplus to customers in the form of lower payments, i.e. usually by reducing or removing the basic fee for a while.
However, Lahti Energia does not intend to lower its electricity transmission prices due to the reduction in Fingrid’s grid fees.
Lahti Energia Sähköverkko Oy reduced electricity transmission fees by an average of ten percent at the beginning of May.
