Robbie Coltrane, who played Hagrid in the Harry Potter films, has died

In addition to Hagrid, Coltrane’s best-known roles include starring as criminal psychologist Edward “Fitz” Fitzgerald in the TV series Fitz Solves and Valentin Dmitrovich Zukovskyna in the James Bond films.

The news is confirmed by the actor’s agent to British PA Media.
