Air traffic between Kajaani and Helsinki will start again at the end of October

According to the current schedule, Finnair flies six days a week between Kajaani and Helsinki with a total of 16 flights. In December, the number of flights will be increased for two days.

State-supported air traffic between Kajaani and Helsinki will start again on Monday, October 31.

The Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom has signed agreements with Finnair to organize air traffic to five provincial airports.

According to the current schedule, Finnair flies six days a week between Kajaani and Helsinki with a total of 16 flights. The busiest day is on Fridays, when there are four flights. You can fly to Helsinki early in the morning from Kajaani only on Monday, at 5:10 am.

There will be more flights in December, when on Wednesdays and Thursdays there are flights from Kajaani to Helsinki in the morning and back in the afternoon.

Regional route flights are flown with 68-seater ATR72 planes of Finnair’s subcontractor, Norra. In addition, if necessary, Finnair can use Danish Air Transport (DAT) as a subcontractor.

Flight schedules and tickets are available on Finnair’s website. For example, on October 31, a round-trip flight between Kajaani and Helsinki costs 170 euros.
