The insurance company brought the treasures of its art collection to Verkatehtaa

A woman is standing in a room and behind her are two paintings on a stand.
Visual artist Minttu Saarinen works as the exhibition coordinator of LähiTapiola’s exhibition. Tyko Salline’s painting in Kylä Ranta in the background is from 1920.

LähiTapiola’s art collection includes, among other things, works from the golden age of Finnish art.

Part of the insurance company LähiTapiola’s art collection is on display at Hämeenlinna’s Verkatehta. The exhibition includes a total of almost 30 works of art. Most of the works are paintings, but there are also some drawings.

The exhibition complex presents both nature and city views from the beginning of the last century. Most of the landscapes are domestic, but there are also views from France, England and Italy.
