The renewal of the long trees in Linnaistensuo in Lahti was still unfinished due to a lack of planks

The renewal of the long trees in the nature reserve will continue next summer.

The renewal of the pine trees of the popular camping area in Lahti, the Linnaistensuo nature reserve, will continue next year. The work remains unfinished because it has been difficult to get enough timber.

Linnaistensu’s pine trees are renewed by hand in difficult terrain. Fastening is done with pins, and no nails or screws are used in the work.

There was still about a third of the longwood route to be done next summer. You can still go hiking in the area. There will also be a new, large camping table at the east end of the trail in the near future.
