Last year, Oulu still hoped to sell the house, but there was hardly any interest.

Currently, the building complex is in poor condition and its renovation is estimated to cost more than 5.5 million euros. Operating costs are also around a quarter of a million euros annually.

Now the city plans to sell the buildings, which could be replaced by buildings serving service and tourism activities in the future. The matter will be discussed at the community board on Tuesday.

The city is also selling office buildings on Lummintie in Oulunsalo from the so-called planning village, which is located along Lentokentäntie, east of shopping center Kapteen.

One of the buildings in the area is to be protected. The building intended to be protected represents the so-called Oulu school architecture and the first phase of technology construction in the area.

We are also putting up for sale a single detached house in Peltola that was in poor condition and was bought for demolition.
