Invoices for foster care have been sent to customers in error twice on Wednesday 10 October.
The Päijät-Häme Welfare Region has received double invoices for foster care clients due to a systemic failure.
On Tuesday 10 October, around 200 bills were sent to customers twice. Provincia Ltd, a financial services provider, is in contact with customers affected by the error.
Unnecessary double bills will also be refunded to customers. The refund invoice will be accompanied by an information note to customers.
There has been no feedback from the area about the unjustified bills.
