A great honour for Pori Theatre: the girl from the match factory chosen for Tampere Theatre Week

The Match Factory Girl premiered at the Pori Theatre in January and the performances ended in May.

The last time Pori Theatre’s production was presented at Tampere Theatre Festival was 26 years ago, in 1997, when the festival presented Fully Satisfied Woman directed by Jouko Turka.

Pori Theatre’s play *The Girl from the Tulip Factory* has been selected as part of the main programme of Tampere Theatre Summer.

Tampere Theatre Summer is one of the most important theatre festivals in Europe.

This year, the festival will take place from 7 to 13 August. The festival’s performances have been selected by the Tampere Theatre Summer Artistic Board together with the Executive Director.

Tulitiktekhtahta’s girl premiered at the Pori Theater in January and the performances ended in May. A total of 3,265 spectators attended the 15 performances.
