Air Baltic is opening more routes for the winter season this year than ever before in its history.

In the future, two new holiday destinations will be accessible from Tampere. According to Air Baltic, the decision was based on passenger demand and the airline’s strong commitment to Tampere.

Latvian national airline Air Baltic published on Thursday its flight schedule for the winter season starting at the end of October. The airline will open a total of 11 new routes, including two from Tampere-Pirkkala airport.

Once the winter season starts, it will be possible to fly from Tampere to Kittilä and Tenerife in Spain. Flights to both destinations depart twice a week.

– Therefore, our commitment to the Baltics and Tampere remains strong, and we are committed to improving connectivity in the Tampere region and beyond,” Gauss says in a press release.

Ticket sales for Air Baltic’s winter season routes start on May 16.
