Lahti Pelicans fined for provocative use of the ice rink’s video board

The Lahti Pelicans received a fine from the Ice Hockey League for the provocative use of the video board in their home hall.

The board of the Ice Hockey League does not disclose the details of the punishment publicly.

The Ice Hockey League has imposed a fine on the Lahti Pelicans for the saved home game of the hockey finals on April 25.

According to the league’s board, the Pelicans violated the 15th section of the competition rules, which prohibits provoking the opponent or the referee using the video board.

In its announcement published on Thursday, the board of the Ice Hockey League does not provide the details of the punishment or the amount of the fine. The Pelicans also do not say the amount of the fine.

Iida Vainio has told MTV that she filed a criminal complaint against the Finnish SM league player at the end of February. Yelle Vainio has not wanted to comment on the matter.
