In the Market located in Paavola, Lahti, on Tuesday afternoon, security guards caught a shoplifter who had a little over a thousand euros worth of electric toothbrush replacement heads stuffed inside his jacket.
A man in his thirties had placed Irtopäät in a shopping cart in the electronics department. From there, he moved to the toy department, where he moved the booty inside his coat.
The thief calmly left the cash register, but was caught by the guards. The police patrol was called to the scene and the man was arrested on suspicion of theft.
The police station also found out that the shoplifter is banned from entering the country.
