Even at its highest, the water level has been at the level of a normal spring flood.
The highest surface is in Lapuanjoki, where it is the average spring flood level. There, the water level will slow down and may experience a small rise in the days after the rains predicted for Sunday.
In Kyrönjoki Nikkola, the water level rose close to the average spring flood on Friday. In Lapuanjoki, the surface rose a little higher than that.
South of Vaasa, the small coastal rivers are already declining.
Also in Central Ostrobothnia, Lestijoki, Kälviäjoki and Perhonjoki have reached a slightly higher than average spring flood and\n water levels are falling. The level of Lestijoki was supposed to start falling already on Friday, but it continued to rise until it started to fall on Saturday morning.
The peak flow in Ähtävänjo was already reached on Thursday.
Surfaces will still remain high well into next week.
On the North Ostrobothnia side, the water level continues to rise.
