Are these three little boys from Lieto Käärijä’s biggest fans? Wrapper: \”Shut up, it’s a great thing\”

Käärijä’s style has inspired many Finns to make their own versions of the artist’s unique style. In a family from Lieto, the children and dogs now wear green boleros.

– When I have this shirt and these pants, I feel like I’m a Käärijä myself, Kristian Vesalainen describes.

Anna Kokko says that the fandom can also be seen in the nails.

– The first time I put \\green\\ nail polish on Paavo, he thought it wasn’t enough. Then he went to get more of it himself and varnished his whole hand with that nail polish, Kokko laughs.

The boys have practiced Käärijä dance moves and performed in their Käärijä boleros – the most recent performance was at a service home for people with intellectual disabilities in Turku. Performance is practiced daily.

– When we were performing yesterday, it was wonderful to see how the enthusiasm spread from the boys to everyone else, Kokko says.

The boys’ encouraging greetings moved the Eurovision representative

The boys’ thoughts about their idol and a video of their dance rehearsals were also shown to Käärijä himself in the Puoli sevent program. The greetings sent by the boys even moved the artist a little.

– Pretty neat. Honestly, this kind of thing makes me quiet. When in the middle of all this you can’t follow what’s going on there… such skids – it’s a great thing. Thank you there, many greetings, Käärijä said in the live broadcast.

Käärijä’s first appearance at the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool is on Tuesday 9 May. in the semi-finals. The wrapper is the last performer of the evening. The Eurovision final, on the other hand, is on Saturday 13 May.
