Kainuu Musiikkijuhlat reached its goal of visitors, and the event promises to continue as early as next June

The event, which went almost smoothly, gathered around 10,000 festival guests in Kajaani over the weekend. Apulanta had to stop his gig on Friday for safety reasons.

The organizers describe the Kainuu Music Festival organized on Friday and Saturday as a success with visitors. Since 2018, the event, which has grown with one new performance stage, was sold out on the second day of the festival, and a total of 10,000 visitors to Kajaani with its side events accumulated over the weekend.

A total of 21 artists performed at the music festival, including Apulanta, Vesala, Haloo Helsinki! and JVG.

Apulanna’s spectacular show gathered thousands of revelers in front of Kajaani’s biggest stage ever.

The last minutes of Apulanta’s gig did not go completely smoothly. The band had to stop their gig for safety reasons, because a can was thrown onto the stage from the audience at the end of the gig. However, the can in question did not hit any of the performers on stage.

The control in front of the stage was made more precise and similar problems did not appear again on the second day of the festival.

_The subject can be discussed until Tuesday, August 30, until 11 p.m._.
