Hanoi Rocks was an international success

Hanoi Rocks was the first Finnish rock band to make a real international breakthrough. In the 1980s, Hanoi Rocks was the most internationally successful Finnish band.

The band, which rose to cult fame, started in 1979 and continued until 1985. The band reassembled in 2001 and performed until 2009.

The group’s music was influenced by glam rock, punk and hard rock.

Hanoi Rocks recorded their first three albums with their original lineup: _Bangkok Shocks, Saigon Shakes, Hanoi Rocks_ (1981), _Oriental Beat_ (1982) and _Self Destruction Blues_ (1982).

Founded by Michael Monroe and Andy McCoy, Hanoi Rocks has had several lineup changes.

The most tragic event on the band’s tour was in 1984, when Razzle died in a car accident in Los Angles. As a result of the accident, the band broke up.

Hanoi Rocks has had an influence on the music of many other bands. Several international bands, for example _Foo Fighters, Guns N´Roses_ and _Skid_ _Row_ have said that they were influenced by Hanoi Rocks, which they appreciate.
