Musician and artist Mr Ylppö selects the winner of the Finlandia Prize for Children’s and Young People’s Literature. The winner of the Finlandia for non-fiction will be decided by children’s author Linda Liukas.

The Finnish Book Foundation has appointed the juries and selectors for the 2023 Finlandia Prizes. Three Finlandia Prizes for Literature will again be awarded, each worth €30 000.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Finlandia Prize.

The Finlandia nominees will be announced at an event in early November. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Wednesday 29 November.
