The police and social authorities talk to the perpetrator and his parents.
Yesterday afternoon, an incident took place at the large Mukkula school in Lahti, where a student under the age of 15 hit another with a sharp metal object.
The blow hit the back of the hand and the victim suffered minor injuries.
According to the Häme police, everything essential about the incident has been told in the bulletin published by the city of Lahti on Wednesday.
The police also do not want to specify what kind of instrument it is.
Since the perpetrator is a minor, further actions will focus on talking to the student and his parents by the police and social authorities.
Some of the students of the Mukkula school were eyewitnesses to the event.
The city of Lahti’s press release reminds us that if the school’s students or staff need to discuss what happened, the services of student care and occupational health care are available.
The Mukkula elementary school has approximately 820 students from the first to the ninth grade.
