The support of Basic Finns and the coalition increased in Lahti by a couple of percentage points from the 2019 parliamentary elections.
SDP was the most popular party in Lahti in the parliamentary elections. SDP’s support percentage was 25.5 in Lahti. In second place came Perussuomalaiket with 23.2 percent, and in third place was the coalition with 22.6 percent support.
In the last parliamentary election, the difference to the top was bigger than now. In 2019, the support percentage of basic Finns in Lahti was 21.0 and SDP’s was 25.2. The coalition’s share of votes in Lahti was 20.0 at that time.
In the neighborhoods of Lahti, the Basic Finns were most popular in the eastern parts of the city, where the party’s support also expanded after the last parliamentary election. The coalition lost Renkomäki and SDP Nikkilä to basic Finns.
As before, the residents of Lahti’s city center had relatively the most supporters of the SDP and the coalition.
