The electoral district board of Häme went through all the ballots issued in advance and on the day of the election in the verification count that took place on Monday.
The tickets of those who voted abroad have been added to the preliminary votes in municipalities and the vote counters cannot distinguish them from other tickets in any way.
On election day, there were 1,371 rejected votes in the Häme electoral district. In the check count, a new interpretation was made in about a hundred cases.
Some rejected votes were accepted, but individual accepted votes were also rejected.
The rejected voices included the familiar 007 and Duck the Duck’s car registration number 313, but also written greetings, such as \”no more people to the liars’ club on Arkadianmäki\”.

Due to the increased popularity of advance voting, more ballot counters also had to be alerted.
– There were 168 people counting votes on election day, and 80 people in the verification count on Monday. If you include the janitors, drivers and others, on Sunday I ordered food for about 200 people, when I couldn’t get out of here in the middle, says Salo.
In addition, all municipalities still have their own election officials. The result of the parliamentary elections will be confirmed on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
