It has been decided to stop the operation of SOE Busproduction Finland oy. The information came out today after the end of the change negotiations concerning the company’s 80 employees.
The Swedish parent company Scania is reorganizing and concentrating research and development activities in the bus business.
The decision to stop operations in Lahti affects 77 jobs.
Scania has entered into an outsourcing agreement with Etteplan Finland oy, and 29 employees will join Etteplan as old employees.
Other employment relationships will end by the end of the year.

Chief steward Tommi Vanhala is confident that those who will lose their jobs by the end of the year will find employment.
