New dance event brings works by four dance companies to Kuopio, Rovaniemi, Vantaa and Turku

Four dance theatres in different parts of Finland will stage a new dance event this spring. One of the organisers is Dance Theatre Rimpparemmi. The picture is from its performance of Spaces / Spaces.

The first 4X event will take place in spring 2023, with similar two-day events in Kuopio, Rovaniemi, Vantaa and Turku.

A new 4X dance event will take place in four locations this spring.

It is a touring event of four Finnish dance theatres, Aurinkobalet, Minimi, Rimpparemm and Raatiko, which will be held in the same way in each theatre’s home town: in Turku, Kuopio, Rovaniemi and Vantaa.

The two-day event starts with an evening of three performances for young people and adults, featuring Aurinkobalet’s *On the Edge*, Minim’s RAJA and Rimpparemm’s *Asetelmia.*

On the second day of the event, Tanssiteatteri Raatiko’s children’s performance *Jumping Rope* will be seen.

The event will take place in Kuopio on May 19-20, in Rovaniemi on May 27-28. May, Vantaa 2–3. June and in Turku on 9–10 June.
