For the premiere in August, venues are being sought primarily in the centre of Kajaani, the upper town, Purola and Puistola.
Fenced Dreams is looking for gardens and yards in Kajani to stage dance. The work, which will premiere on 15 August, is looking for venues primarily in the city centre, the upper town, Purola and Puistola.
Fenced Dreams is a walking tour, during which the viewers walk a guided route through Kajaani’s natural sites, individual gardens and buildings. The work is experienced on foot with headphones and a guide. The performances to be experienced along the walk are planned and carried out in cooperation with local people and groups.
You can register your own garden or yard (http://www.saripalmgren.com/aidatut-unelmat-kajaani-fenced-dreams-kajaani) as the setting for the dance until 20 February. According to Palmgren, residents do not have to be at home or participate in the creation of the piece.
– No need, the show only needs the yard for its use. Of course, you can be there if you want, says Palmgren.
No compensation is paid for the use of the yards. All applicants will be notified of the selections during February.
*You can discuss the topic until February 18 at 11 p.m.*
